Refund Policy

Any publication, processing, registration, certificate, or other applicable fees paid to IJSEMI are associated with the processing and publication services provided by the journal.

A refund may be considered under the following circumstances:

• The same payment has been made more than once for the same paper or service.
• Payment was deducted from the author's bank account but was not received by IJSEMI due to a technical or payment gateway issue.
• IJSEMI is unable to provide the paid service due to an internal technical or administrative reason.
• Any other situation where IJSEMI determines that a refund is appropriate.

Payment of a publication or processing fee does not guarantee acceptance or publication of a research paper.

If a paper is rejected during the editorial or review process, the publication fee will generally not be refunded where the fee relates to processing, editorial evaluation, peer review, or administrative services already provided.

If an author voluntarily withdraws a paper after payment has been made, the paid amount will generally be non-refundable, particularly where editorial, review, processing, or publication-related work has already commenced.

Authors are therefore advised to carefully review their submission information before making any payment.

If an author accidentally makes two or more payments for the same paper or service, the duplicate amount may be eligible for a refund after verification.

The author may be required to provide:

• Paper ID or Paper Code
• Transaction ID
• Payment date
• Payment amount
• Payment receipt or proof of payment
• Registered email address

If the payment amount has been deducted from the author's bank account but the transaction is not successfully reflected in the IJSEMI system, the author should contact IJSEMI with valid payment details.

The transaction will be verified with the relevant payment service provider or bank. If the payment is confirmed as unsuccessful but the amount was deducted, the refund or reversal will be processed according to the applicable payment provider's procedures.

To request a refund, the author should contact IJSEMI through the official contact details provided on the website.

The refund request should include sufficient information to identify and verify the transaction.

• Paper ID or Paper Code
• Transaction or reference number
• Payment date and amount
• Registered email address
• Payment receipt or proof of payment, if available

Once a refund has been approved, the processing time may depend on the payment gateway, bank, or financial institution involved.

Where applicable, transaction charges, payment gateway charges, bank charges, currency-conversion charges, or other third-party fees may not be refundable.

The final refundable amount, where applicable, will be determined after considering the nature of the transaction and applicable third-party charges.

IJSEMI reserves the right to investigate transactions suspected of being fraudulent, unauthorized, misleading, or otherwise irregular.

Refunds related to such transactions will be handled only after appropriate verification.

Submission of a refund request does not automatically guarantee approval.

Each request will be reviewed based on the circumstances of the transaction and the services already provided by IJSEMI.

The final decision regarding refund eligibility will be made by IJSEMI after verification.

IJSEMI reserves the right to modify, update, or revise this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.

Any changes will become effective once the updated policy is published on the IJSEMI website.
